That is another of the nexus statements of the est training. It is a point of agreement between the two sides; in that moment between my psychiatrist and I, we were in agreement. But that is a point of potential only and it is the beliefs and actions that come AFTER that which matter. That moment was fleeing indeed, as have been any of them coming after that.

Is the psychiatrist accepting what I say at face value or is he automatically looking for delusions in me simply because I am the one who is sitting there by virtue of my definition by group consensus?

Are all nurses assumed to be reasonable by virtue of just BEING nurses? Is there an artificially contrived hierarchical structure of value and/or worth in the kind of thinking? Could there ever even BE such a thing as a nurse with ‘no reason’? Can a nurse ever be what a psychiatrist would call ‘crazy’? Or is that outside the realm of ‘possibility’ for psychiatrists?

Inside the est training , in which this nurse, who cannot be perceived by the mental illness system here as the one with the problem, ‘trainees’ were often manipulated by language to actually state, “there is no reason in what I do.” This particular est trained nurse is alleged to have told his co-workers that he believes that this was ‘the best investment he ever made’? So why do you think he might believe that? Got any ideas as to why someone who has been taught to believe he is ‘in total control of everything, creating and defining reality for everyone’ else, might think that? Put on your thinking caps again and see what you can come up with.

Yes I DO see that. Why don’t you open yourselves up ‘to possibility’...as they say in the nurse from hell’s so called training? Then maybe you TOO will become able to see ‘what it right in front of you.’ Instead of just assuming the one telling you the truth you do not understand is crazy for seeing it, why not try accepting it and considering the possibility that it is actually the nurse who is operating with ‘no reason.’ If you do, you might then move all the way to the finish line of the ‘joke’ which states that ‘reality’ is NOT that which is defined by either ‘authority’ (like all of my psychiatrists and therapists on the team) or group consensus , (like bus drivers, psych hospital staffers, ex friends, dollar store employees, retired people at the malls and my neighbours to name but a few of the groups involved in assessing me) but is that which we experience.
Can you just not understand how marvellously amusing this all is to my nurse protagonist? ‘It is about domination’ as he was taught inside the ‘secret’ training for choosing power. Like DUH!
Note to bus drivers.
Right after my 11 minute labelling session one at my employers office, accepting the diagnosis of me without question, since doctors are, as is said in est, ‘always right and never wrong' asked me a question in an attempt to get me to accept myself as inherently defective. I had earlier mentioned to them that this whole thing had taken on such a life of its won that even the bus drivers were participating in it. I had also told the eleven minute wonder that. So? with a big sigh and rolling her eyes at me she said, ‘Could you not just accept that bus drivers are not talking about you’?
She was clearly exasperated by my ongoing beliefs that there was an est exercise going on and that even bus drivers had involved themselves in it.
Now here is my question to you local bus drivers: Were you, or are you, involved in any way, now or then, in discussing my experience of reality with others, including Psych hospital staff members? To get you started on this new hunt for hidden meaning, I would like to suggest you ask Jimmy H. who is now on the perimeter route and Professor Richard Phidd is they know anything at all about it and if they ever discussed it in any way with anyone else.
I will just wait for the police to show up to take me for my ‘insulin’ to cure me of my ongoing persistent delusional beliefs about anything happening here. You just talk it over amongst yourselves. Seventeen years later I can still say, it is just my life so really it is none of my business. I am sure you will let me know, as always, exactly what it is I will be allowed to be aware of, and what I will be allowed to say about it, and to whom. As the creator of est might put it, when saying to the trainees who choose to do this, ‘You may as well as you ‘can’t change anything anyway...’
I sure haven’t been able to change the mind of a single person involved have I?
Even some concrete evidence hasn’t changed a thing.
