Psychiatrist Ousted for Curing Patients

Birmingham Psychiatrist Dr. Hiebold Moranis was recently stripped of his credentials and permanently banned from Psychiatric practice because of his record of curing patients rather than "treating" their symptoms. His actions were deemed contrary to modern psychiatric practice by the licensing board and by the Psychiatric Profit Society. Dr. Moranis raised the ire of his colleagues and the licensing board because he employed a non-approved method of diagnosis and treatment, involving actual medical testing for underlying conditions, medical treatment as needed, nutrition, allergy treatments, de-tox programs and sometimes a stern talking to.

The people who try so hard to get us the 'help'we need, run all over town telling stories about 'us' who are so unlike 'them.' Most cannot help but feel great disdain for 'us' and the way we are; always 'telling stories' just 'to seek attention/fame.'
(At least that is the story they tell each other.)

The Testers
The testers, all well trained experts decide to test a woman for her awareness and understanding.
Dr. Bright: There she is now. Well, I say we give her a few little tests to see how aware she is of what is going on around her.
Dr. Yuss: Hey careful Nuntoo, she will hear you.
Dr. Bright: Oh, we don't have to worry about that Gene, even if she hears us, she is not going to have any idea what we are talking about.
Dr. Yuss: Oh, look, Nuntoo, she appears to be presenting with confusion. I guess you are right about that.
Dr. Bright: Well that is pretty much par for the course for one of them Gene. Most of the genetic defectives present with the symptom of confusion. Very often it is closely followed by an inappropriate affect...like anger, even though there is no real external stimulus justifying it.
Dr. Yuss: Well then, that being the case, we had better be careful how we handle her as you never know what one of them is likely to do. As we know, they can turn on people for no reason.
So much in life happens for NO REASON doesn't it?

Apparently if you think you are 'psychic' and give a nurse a reading at a Fair you are a life advisor but if you 'think' you are psychic inside a psychiatric hospital, you are insane and in need of the same nurse's 'help'
